The Krusherz organization was founded in October of 2006 and is a community organization dedicated to the development and enhancement of our female athletes. Our goal is to develop these players through participation in a fun, goal-oriented program. These young ladies selected for a Krusherz team will not only develop as players but also as young ladies both on and off the field. |

The Krusherz is a corporation that was formed with the following objectives: |
-
Provide a competitive, recreational activity for young women, which will promote citizenship, sportsmanship, leadership, and good moral conduct,
-
Seek appropriate affiliation for the teams,
-
Establish a governing body to set team policy and practices,
-
Run the organization with the intent of being beneficial to the players,
-
Conduct activities necessary to properly fund the organization,
-
Promote visibility of girls to recruiting college coaches. |

The Krusherz were officially co-founded by Dr. Robert Faison and Ray Szelest. Both men shared the same goal, which is to help their daughters get to the next level of competitive softball; commonly referred to as “travel ball”. They pulled their collective ideas together and started two teams, a 10U & 12U team. This was un-chartered territory for them but they were determined to do this the right and legal way. Thus the Krusherz organization was formed. The original name, West Pinellas Krusherz was selected due to the vast majority of the players that were initially recruited and lived within the western part of Pinellas County. Recently, because the female athletes that play for the various Krusherz teams now come from an eight county area, the name has been changed to the Krusherz. |
